New parts and performance parts

A surprising number of new parts are still available for these scooters. Prices vary depending on what you need, but the parts not cheap. In most cases my prices are way less than 1/2 of the new cost. I haven't yet identified good dealers for parts, so just try to find a local dealer who has the microfiche/CD's with the part numbers and who is willing to order the parts. As for performance parts, in general they are hard to come by in the U.S. The big Rivas and Elites are over 15 years old for the most part, and there is not a whole lot of interest in making performance parts. You can do a web search for something like "scooter performance parts" and see what you come up with. Here is one site: http://www.badmotorscooterparts.com, but as yet I have not dealt with them. However, there are performance parts (variators, big bore kits, etc) made for some of the Honda and Yamaha 50cc models. There are also lots of performance parts available outside of the U.S., especially in Europe where scooters are big.

I've got a bunch of Honda and Yamaha scooter parts for sale. Note that for the most part, these are used parts. Condition varies (though most items are in good shape). You can also get stuff on ebay, but be sure the item is described correctly and that the seller is reputable!
